
Wes Ewing
Instructor/USCG Boat Captain
Wes was raised in West Virginia fishing, boating, and climbing in the New River Gorge area. He has lived in Sandpoint, Idaho since 2002. Up in the Northern Panhandle of Idaho, Wes is a Sr. Fisheries Technician for Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game conducting white sturgeon and burbot research on the Kootenai River in Idaho, Montana and British Columbia. While not working, Wes spends most of his time fishing, waterfowl hunting, and playing on the water. He joined the WRI team to help manage the Sandpoint region operations. Wes brings 22 years as a jet boat operator and 5 years of airboat experience to the WRI team.
