Empower Your Team with Whitewater Rescue Training

Looking to bring expert swiftwater rescue instruction to your organization? Hosting a course is simple and enables agencies, companies, and community groups to arrange customized training at a location and schedule that works for you. Gain hands-on, mission‑ready skills delivered by our certified instructors—designed to meet your team’s unique needs.

Hosting a WRI course is simple

Option #1: In House Training

For most locations, our class minimum is 6 participants. If your organization has at least 6 participants and would like to customize the training to your specific needs, then “in-house” training is a great option.

Option #2: Open Course

If you do not have 6 participants, or you are interested in working with the community at large, then this is the option for you. Simply host the course and with your help, we will advertise the course and fill the remaining spots. Our cut-off is 25. If the course has 12 participants, one member of your agency goes for free. If the course has over 15 participants, 2 members of your agency go for free.

Because we believe in safety on the river, we are proud to teach courses that are compliant to the National Fire Protection Agency standards 1670.

      • River

      • The class is primarily taught on the river. To do this, a modest current (class II-III) is needed. Also, many of the scenarios require river features such as islands, rocks, strainers, waves, holes, etc. Is there an access point with these features?
