From Jet Boat to Paddle Raft, WRI can provide you with practical skills to safely navigate the river.  Hands-on training will give you the understanding necessary to guide a boat under motor or paddle power.  Our courses take the time to show you what tools and rescue gear each boat should come equipped with. Then, we give interactive scenarios where that equipment would be used for swiftwater rescue or inland oil spill response.

We are happy to use your raft or motorized boat, or we can provide the boats for you to train on.  With a wide array of crafts we are equipped to provide a training boat that will best suit your needs. WRI has rafts, catarafts and inflatable kayaks. The rafts can be set up as oar rigs or paddle boats. Our jet boat fleet consists of boats from 13’ to 28’. We have everything from a Zodiak to a Landing Craft. We have center console, stick steer, and tiller boats. WRI can also provide the personal protective equipment for each student.
