WRI Environmental Response specializes in fast water spill response and inland oil spill response training for water related accidents, from fuel spills to individual safety. In addition, we provide a highly qualified Hazmat emergency response team to assist with clean-up efforts. Moving water creates a whole new set of worker risks in the already challenging environment of a spill response. WRI Environmental Response is setting the industry standard for spill response safety involving rivers and moving water. We know the challenges organizations face on large projects, and our job is to prevent accidents from occurring and to be prepared when they do.
In 2011, WRI coordinated river transportation and safety on pipeline breach on the Yellowstone River, providing transportation for over 25,000 passengers during a four month cleanup while supervising and operating over 25 jetboats daily which collectively ran more than 100,000 miles of the Yellowstone River.
Our team’s unique skills are unmatched and unparalleled in river experience. Our staff includes Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Nurses, U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Boat Operators, and Water Safety Technicians. WRI’s fleet of boats ranges from 28’ Aluminum Inboard Jet Boats to 13’ Inflatable Outboards. In total, we have over 15 boats in our fleet, all capable and designed for work on the river.
