Course Description

Located near Missoula, Montana on the Clark Fork River, WRI Training Center provides the ideal location for comprehensive fast water spill response advanced training. We have conducted inland oil spill response trainings throughout the U.S.: from the Mississippi to the Columbia, and we have the experience to train you and your team.  This course is for participants who have previously attended our technician-level spill response course. In the the technician-level course students gained knowledge regarding safety, boat operations, and booming strategies. Our Advanced course builds off of these skills but we jump right in. Participants will spend more time on the water with the emphasis of this training being comprehensive booming strategies. Get ready to learn more about recovery systems, rigging anchors, establishing mid-stream attachment points, creating deflection boom, containment boom, cascading chevrons, line crossings, boom vanes, and much more
